My Redesign Paper

Redesign

After finally figuring out how to publish my site on to the Internet, I was ready to start completing everything.  First, I wanted to find the right font for my site.  So, I immediately went to this font generator and began to work away.

Another crucial factor in my webpage was format and consistency.  Realizing that it would be smartest to examine the layout of some of the most famous web pages on the internet to see what probably functions better than most.  As I began to open the next webpage I was already upon the most famous web page in history, google.  As I continued to surf to websites such as http://www.cnn.com, http://www.facebook.com, and http://www.surfline.com, I noticed a continuing trend.  Each of these websites has put a horizontal table with all of the important links towards the top of each page.  Immediately, I knew that I must include this in my website.

Another important thing was the layout of the rest of the website.  I decided that since I was creating a website promoting travel to Spain, that it was imperative that I include pictures.  So, I decided that I should create at least one picture for each paragraph for information.  Additionally, on pages citing just one location, I decided to put two pictures for that one paragraph to give the page more depth.  So, I would create a table with three columns of equal size as well as one table for the title.

Lastly, I needed to find a suitable background.  However, I knew that each place I was citing had a different thing to offer so I wanted to input a specific color suitable to each place.  To find the backgrounds for each page, I used the site, http://wallpapers.jurko.net/pic/8547/.  With this site, I was able to input certain backgrounds onto each page.
