How my website sucks/and doesn't suck

3 ways I feel my website doesn't suck is that it is easy to navigate, the titles match the text, and the links are clearly labeled. 2 ways I think it may suck are it has alot of centered text and I'm not sure how the content fits on different screens. From the articles I found some intresting facts to help my writing

1. Use place holder text on navigation bars
2. Use different colors to highlight navigation
3. people skim long pages, averaging only 4.4 secs per 100 words
4. Nonlinear reading is focused on quick summaries
5. Use multiple naviagtion bars
6. Eliminate unnessary text.

I thoroughly enjoyed the subject matter of this website. You're obviously quite passionate about it. I really like the titles, they capture the attention and get to the point. However, you have some navigation issues. There was no consistency in the look or placement of the navigation. Maybe you could have a common Menu bar on the side that will show you the structure of the page. Howevver, it is a very interesting topic and shows all sorts of viewpoints. Besides structural issues, i really liked it. GOOD JOB!

  2. I really liked the subject of your website and I am amazed by how many different standpoints you included. Your images are powerful and help the readers understand what is said in the text, even if they don't read it all. I like your use of personal stories and how your text is easy to scan through. I would suggest making a few adjustments to your navigation bar because it is not the same on every page and switches from being on the top and the bottom. This makes it hard for the reader to get back to the home page and their previously viewed pages with out having to use the back button. Also, some of your links are different colors and it may help to make them all uniform. However, your site is very interesting to read and I wish I had more time to look at it more. You did a really good job of linking to other pages within your text and providing the readers with multiple methods of learning about your topic. Good Job Brandon!

  3. I like the two navigation bars but I go a little lost in them. The colors are good and it fits the theme. The imbedded links are good, not sure the top navigation bar disappears. The background is good because it is dark like the topic but is broken up with the white flecks and not total black. Text is clear and legible. Navigation is good but a little unclear. All aspects are well placed and used appropriately. The topic is clear and pages are clearly labeled.

  4. I think that this website has a great color scheme that really connects to the issue and is effective for your purpose. It is a little bit hard to navigate through the site since all the pages look similar and the home page is not clearly marked in the links. The main purpose of the site is clear when you quicly look at the site.
