Critical Thinking

1. "It is used to describe thinking that is purposeful, reasoned and goal directed - the kind of thinking involved in solving problems"

- This is relative to my third website because it is aimed at making people aware of teenage girl sexual harassement in restaurants. The goal of it is problem solving. I was trying to make people aware in order to help prevent the issue.

2. "critical thinking is the questioning or inquiry we engage in when we seek to understand, evaluate, or resolve"

-This description of critical thinking applies to both my second and third websites. They both addressed problems and informed people about them. They also evaluated what is going on and proposed ways to resolve them.

3. "Critical thinking is the use of those cognitive skills or strategies that increase the probability of a desirable outcome."
-This definition of critical thinking is very relevant to my hypertext about sexual harassment in that it presents strategies that increase the likelihood of a desirable outcome, which for my website was the increased awareness of the problem, which will hopefully lead to the prevention of it.
