I chose to do an illustration of when Marcus is in the Principle’s office. I found this scene to be really fun to read because it showed how manipulative and calm Marcus can be even in the face of trouble. It reminded me of how people use ways of manipulation and lying to get out of things. This cartoon shows how even in the face of expulsion, there is no real fear to face when one is not losing anything in the stakes. The principle’s tactic of scaring Marcus fails and Marcus manages to escape trouble.
