Graphic novel interpretation- Mirella Villalpando

For my graphic novel interpretation of Little Brother I chose to comment on the idea presented in the novel that the proper use of technology can result in power and privacy. Although my strip is exaggerated, it serves to show an example of the use of technology being used to make Marcus president of the United States. Throughout the novel technology is being used by different parties to gain privacy and power. Marcus’ use of technology it to gain power for free internet access and to protect his privacy from school officials, the Board of Education and HSD. On the other hand, The school and Board of education is using technology to have the power to monitor students and the government is using technology to have the power to monitor citizens and to provide privacy to the nation against terrorists.
