I did my comic in a way that compared the extreme paranoia of the government and board of education in Little Brother to teaching at Santa Clara in our class. In the world of Little Brother many things at Santa Clara may cause problems witht the government. They make sure that everything that is said in schools agrees directly with what the government wants. When Ms. Galvez holds a conversation in class and does not agree directly with the government, she is fired the next day and replaced by a teacher who will teach what the government wants. This is very extreme and an important part of the book, because controlling what the youth generation is taught has a large impact on society.
