For my fan fiction piece, I created a front page of the San Francisco newspaper with an article one year after the bay bridge attacks. It's written by Barbara Stratford, the reporter in Little Brother, and plays off of themes in the book regarding security. In the article, the DHS still hasn't been overthrown, and absurd security measures are still in place. The article quotes Marcus, where I interjected one of this real quotes from the book saying "once we're not free, the terrorists win," and the article also questions a topic brought up in the book about national security vs. the constitution.
