I wanted to do my FanFiction of Little Brother remixed with my all time favorite youth novel series "Harry Potter." The new perspective I wanted to initiate on this writing was the idea of what happened to Van when she was incorporated in the novel "Little Brother." Van had been such a large part of the novel up until her and Marcus were released from Treasure Island and I thought it would be neat to explore what she did and if she really stopped jamming/fighting the cause when she got mad at Marcus. I thought Van was not given enough credit for her decision to be the only one to stand up against and not praise Marucs and there is obviously an interesting dynamic that I think should be explored between the two characters especially considering the ending of their relationship in the novel. I do not believe this writing fully expresses these ideas but it's something of a start!
