The inspiration for my idea came from the ways in which the Department of Homeland Security was seemingly able to justify any measure of search and detainment in Little Brother. It had gotten to the point that the Bill of Rights was completely out the window and seemed as though the story was taking place in a communist totalitarian state. I just had fun imagining absurd, comedic examples of the DHS's abuse of authority.
