(Paranoia sweeps through Santa Clara Universtiy after students and faculty recieve news about the terrorist attack on the Bay Bridge. Everywhere people are wondering what the government will do next to ensure, or attempt to ensure, the safty of the citezens.)
Bubba: I can't believe this happened! Is there anything we can do anymore to protect ourselves against terrorist attacks?
Sally: I don't know Bubba, all the new technologies and extra precautions that the government has imposed on us all seem to be pretty futile. The more the technology advances, the more advanced the terrorists seem to get!
Bubba: Yeah, I'm a computer engineering major, and there always seems to be some new and improved survelence technology coming out, but does any of it really help? I mean, computer engeneers are required to take a course about protecting computers from being hacked, but the only way to do that is to learn to hack. And when that kind of information is accessable to practically any college student, I can't imagine the kind of things that the terrorists can get their hands on, or invent...
