Obviously, the most controlling aspect of our lives right now is the fact that we cannot download music. So many precautions are taken so that file sharing is taken down as soon as it becomes present on the system. For instance, I got my wireless access taken away because i had left Limewire open on my computer coming back to campus.
Like Marcus, Many of the people have found ways around it. iShare, a program on itunes allows others to see into other people's itunes library. A lot of people go home every weekend and use the time there to down load more music. Some people have even resorted to using youtube downloaders to get the music they want w/o getting into trouble.
Though not on the scale of Little Brother, the Santa Clara student community has foudn was to rebel against the Big Brother that was imposed on us when we came here.
