I decided to do an interpretation related to the feeling of being watched that the reader gets from Little Brother. The authors descriptions of all the technology used to monitor and watch students and citizens creates a feeling of never being alone, even if all by yourself. The idea of technology is what always keeps us connected and therefor never alone. I chose photos of different types of people of all ages uses various forms of technology that the average American uses daily. A television, cell phones, and computers with different users are surrounding the main picture in the middle. The center photo was selected to add to the strange scopophilic feeling. The comic also adds on to the theme of surveillance throughout the novel. My strip is less of a comic scene and more of a compilation of images in one. I think it accomplishes giving the viewer that same kind of watched feeling that Little Brother presents.
