I decided to create a comic about the perspective of “Big Brother.” When I read the first interrogation scene I couldn’t help but notice how suspicious Marcus was acting by not giving up the information they wanted. He wanted to act on his principles, but he could have gotten away from the situation without being marked as a terrorist and then taken his revenge. I wanted to show the mindset of the government, which many may see as justified, especially in the event of a catastrophic terrorist attack. Marcus makes the government seem like they are trying to manipulate him, when their actions could be seen as “the right thing to do” in the event of a terrorist attack.
