Bit Strips - Michael Adair
this graphic depicts the four characters and their reactions (and one of their thoughts) after the bombing of the city. They are shocked and in disarray with the expressions representing these emotions. There is a giant bomb behind them and a building exploding (although in the book it was the Bay Bridge that exploded, the idea is still the same). This accompanies the whole concept of terror being instilled within the people that had to witness the event taking place. The children show the main emotions that occur during times such as these. The character with his back towards the camera is showing wordless shock, the two in the background are showing panic and disarray, while the one in the front is showing anger and frustration.
