Originally, I wanted a simple website with fancy typography. As part of the redesign, I added a busy background: pink diamonds. I still used fancy typography but only for the website’s title. For the rest of the text, I used a basic font. At first I wasn’t sure how I was going to organize the webpage. So, when it came time to make it, I was a bit overwhelmed. Once I got used to Dreamweaver, I was able to organize it how I wanted to. I originally wasn’t going to make the “Famous Shopaholics” pictures links, but it ended up working out really well. I added a page titled “I am a Shopaholic” explaining my experience as a shopaholic. I also added a page titled “It Runs in the Family” explaining that this disorder often does run in the family, as it does in mine. I also added many of my own pictures of my favorite places to shop. I also added a page explaining the synopsis of the movie Confessions of a Shopaholic. This page includes a short clip of the movie.
All of these changes add to the overall effect of my website. It is more exciting and easier to navigate. There is a lot to look at and learn. Although most males would not like my website, almost every female will. It is very pink. I added a lot of designer brands and high end department store pictures to my site to show viewers what kind of shopping I am talking about. I hope you enjoy my site!
