My redesigned site has more focus on my own pictures and explaining how I believe one should start if they are truly interested in photography. Instead of having each page be displayed the same exact way; title on top, pictures in the middle, wording on the bottom, now each page is a little different. This adds interest instead of having the reader become lost within the pages because of the familiarity. Also, I redirected my writing to be focused less on just the types of photography and instead added information about a famous photographer that I am personally interested in, as well as where a beginner photographer should start out and the basics of photography such as the composition of an image. The five websites I have chosen to represent where I got my inspiration highlight where I got ideas for coloring, background, and where the focus of my picture should be. Live, Hope, Love intrigued me by the darkness of the background and the intensity of the picture. Bam’s bright pictures and great display of composition gave me ideas of how to set up my images. Anatoly Zenkov’s website gave me ideas on what I could do with my next website, with the moving images and how the text appears when you first enter the website. This gave me inspiration on what I can do next time with a website now that I have learned the basics. The simplicity of Design Your Own Eco Car caught my eye because it made me realize that a website doesn’t always have to be completely complex for it to be interesting and eye catching. And the MAC Cosmetics website was definitely my favorite of all because of the images, different ones flashing in the background, the color scheme, and the way the navigational bar was set up. It made me completely interested in how this website was made and if by the end of this class I will be able to create something almost as interesting as this. Overall, I am very satisfied with the way my website turned out and I hope all the viewers are too.
