Redesign discussion and website

my website is

and my redesign discussion is
Building a website takes time, commitment, and most of all help. It is very daunting to stare at blank page and try to imagine an actual website appearing. There were many websites that aided me while I was designing this webpage. First, was www.bgpatterns.com where I created two of my backgrounds. It’s simple yet very creative background generator provides thousands of possible colors and textures. I chose to focus on the colors black and red for all my backgrounds since those are the international colors of human trafficking. I also found www.grsites.com very helpful in choosing a background. They provide gradient textures, procedural textures, pattern textures, and text textures. I chose to use a gradient texture which blended black and red. GRSites also has a text logo maker which I used to created headlines on all my pages. I chose my splash page’s background on www.webweaver.nu/clipart since I wanted an effortless look while remaining strong since the subject of my website isn’t a minor issue. I would also recommend using www.noqta.it/dromoscopio if you are looking for a basic, subtle design. At www.visibone.com/colorlab you will find a useful color laboratory where you can create unique colors which I also used.
Once I had my backgrounds, I decided I wanted to make my website more unique. I found the perfect video about human trafficking and decided to put it on my “How Does This Happen? To Whom?” page. This was difficult but by creating a new cell I was able to put the video up. I also decided I wanted my “How Can YOU Help” page to be more personal since it was where I talked about my experience with human trafficking. So I added a picture of all the girls from my club wearing the shirts I designed as well as the graphic on the shirt.
